What Is The Freak Circus?

The Freak Circus is a visual novel with a plot developed around psychological tension, dark romance, and horror. The game does not follow the usual fast-paced action but creates an atmosphere of unease by means of dialogues, atmosphere, and interaction between characters. The circus environment turns into the arena of manipulation, control, and fear and the player has to control the conversations and choices. This is a horror experience, addressing thought-provoking and adult themes. It is not created to be comfortable, it is created to be intense.

How to Play Freak Circus

The centre of the game is a perverted relationship triangle. The silent presence of Pierrot is choking and the naive approach of Harlequin conceals something as well as dangerous. As the book progresses, you start to understand the fact that these two people are viewing you as a part of their play, and either of them intend to abandon you quickly.

The story has now shifted to the introduction of the characters and initial story progression. Although the ultimate finales are yet to be finalized, the existing version will add another in-game day to the story, allowing the players a solid preview of what the next one will be.

The Freak Circus keeps controls straightforward and easy to use:

Future Updates

The developer has confirmed plans for multiple endings, including:

• Pierrot’s ending
• Harlequin’s ending
• The protagonist’s ending
• A unanimous resolution of all the characters.

The script is under development and further changes will enhance the plot and increase the options of the player.

Freak Circus is not an adventure that is just a visual novel, it is a dark and disturbing story experience delivered to the players who may enjoy psychological horror and disturb some moralities of the story telling.
