Backrooms II: The Drowned Signal is a survival horror and resource management game that locks you inside the security room of a flooded underground broadcast bunker. Your job is to make it through five increasingly dangerous nights while several systems demand your attention at once.

Eight surveillance cameras reveal what is moving through the facility, while the left and right lights help you check the entrances near your room. When something gets too close, blast doors can provide protection but using bunker systems puts additional pressure on your limited power. Meanwhile, the water level continues to rise and creates another problem you cannot afford to ignore. One threat even infects the camera network, forcing you to locate its feed and cut the signal before it reaches you. The tension comes from constantly deciding what deserves your attention next while trying to survive until the final escape.

How to Play Backrooms II: The Drowned Signal

You cannot watch everything at once. Surviving a night means repeatedly checking the bunker systems, spotting warning signs early, and responding without wasting your limited resources.

Watch the Cameras and Defend the Security Room

Raise the monitor to access CAM 01 through CAM 08 and look for hostile entities moving around the facility. When something appears on a feed, track its position and determine whether it poses an immediate threat. One particular pursuer can infect the camera network, requiring you to identify the affected signal and cut it before the entity reaches you.

Lowering the monitor returns you to the security room, where you can check the left and right entrances with lights and operate their doors. Closing a door can block an approaching threat, but keeping defensive systems active consumes valuable power. At the same time, keep an eye on the Water meter and deal with rising flood levels. The challenge comes from cycling between these tasks efficiently instead of focusing on one system for too long.
