What Is FrontWars.io?

FrontWars.io is an online strategy (RTS) .io game, a combination of traditional world-conquest gameplay and rapid online multiplayer. There is action in each and every match: boundaries are being changed, alliances are being made (and disbanded), ships are being sailed, attacks carried out everywhere on the land and the sea. You are not alone fighting AI, dozens of other real players share the map. Some will negotiate.

How FrontWars.io Works

• You begin with a single territory. From there, you:
• Expand into nearby regions
• Build cities to grow population
• Fortify borders to slow enemy attacks

Growth is important but expanding too fast can leave you exposed.

Game Controls

Key controls include:

• WASD - Move the camera
• Q / E - Zoom in or out
• 1 / 2 - Adjust attack ratios
• Space - Switch map views
• Middle Mouse Button - Auto-upgrade nearby buildings

Real-Time Strategy, Real Players

Everything happens live. Armies march, ships sail, and missiles launch while you watch. The game rewards players who can react quickly and plan ahead at the same time. The win condition is clear and intense: Control 72% of the global map to claim victory.

Buildings, Units, and Warfare

FrontWars.io offers multiple building and unit types that shape how you play:

• City - Increases population and allows further expansion
• Defense Post - Strengthens borders and increases enemy losses
• Port - Enables naval trade and warship production
• Warship - Controls water routes and attacks enemy fleets
• Missile Silo - Launches Atom, Hydrogen, or MIRV bombs
• SAM Launcher - Intercepts incoming missiles

Each bomb type behaves differently, making late-game decisions especially tense. Once launched, missiles cannot be recalled so timing matters.
