Farflung

Farflung: Think Beyond the Obvious

Farflung is a daily geography puzzle game where you identify countries that match specific clues and earn points based on how uncommon your answers are. Like Krillion, Farflung rewards rare answers rather than simply getting the correct ones. Each day, you face five geography prompts and have 60 seconds to select a matching country on the world map. Correct answers earn between 40 and 100 km depending on their rarity, so choosing a less obvious country can take you farther. Think strategically, explore different possibilities, and aim to reach the maximum 500 km in a single daily expedition.

A Geography Quiz with a Rarity Twist

• Five Daily Challenges: Solve five new geography prompts every day.
• Interactive World Map: Locate countries and place pins to submit your answers.
• Rarity-Based Scoring: Earn more distance by choosing less obvious correct countries.
• Timed Questions: Make each decision within 60 seconds.
• Practice Mode: Try an untimed question to familiarize yourself with the gameplay.

Guide to Play Farflung

Your objective is to answer five geography questions correctly while choosing countries that earn the greatest possible distance.

Gameplay Mechanics

Start your daily expedition and read the first geography prompt. Think of a country that matches the clue, then locate it on the world map.

Place a pin on your chosen country and confirm your answer before the timer runs out. Correct answers earn between 40 and 100 km depending on their rarity, while incorrect answers receive no distance. Repeat the process across all five prompts and aim for the maximum total of 500 km.
